Extended Service Plans for special use vans, shuttle buses and ambulances

Ford currently provides a 36 month/ 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on new vehicles, with a limited warranty for an additional 64,000 miles on diesel engines. 

If your ambulance's engine needs to be replaced, the estimated cost of repairs would be $12,000. If it is a gas engine you could expect to pay $7,000.

If your automatic transmission needs to be replaced, the cost of parts and labor would be around $2,800.

We are now able to offer extended warranty coverage of a total of 6 years or 150,000 miles. These are major mechanical protection coverage for ambulances, adaptive vehicles, busses and passenger vans.

These extended service plan offers a way for you to budget the repair costs of your ambulance over the life of the vehicle. The warranty may be used in any certified repair facility, including your own. Out of pocket expense would drop to only $100 deductible per occurrence

The cost is between $2,195 - $3,195 depending on the engine and coverage. 

Areas covered include engine, transmission, drive axle, electrical, steering, air conditioning, suspension, brakes, electronics, cooling, fuel delivery, audio, seals and gaskets. As well as towing.
